  • 5 Recipes for a Vegan Super Bowl

by Kortney Campbell on February 5, 2012

We know it can be difficult to be vegan at a typically wing-eating-carnivore-only Super Bowl party.  That’s okay though!  We have scoured the interwebs & here are 5 fun ideas to make your super bowl veg friendly (other than eating the celery that came with the wings, of course).

    Gardein Buffalo

Keeping with tradition, you can never go wrong with Gardein Classic Style Buffalo Wings.  To top it off, they are so simple to make!

Buffalo Tofu Not keen on fake meats?  This Vegan Buffalo Tofu looks AMAZING!

Vegan Buffalo Dip So much hot sauce, so little time!  Check out VeggieTorials’ Buffalo Un-Chicken Dip!

Vegan Nachos Everybody loves Vegan Nachos!  The fun part is, you can customize them as much as you would like!

Vegan Deviled Egg It’s been years since we have had a deviled egg.  They remind me of holidays at my granny’s house.  These Vegan Deviled Eggs are a must try today!

Are you having a Super Bowl party?  If so, what are you making?

    About Kortney Campbell

I'm Kortney; a wife, natural mama and vegan in love with life, food and all things vintage! I've been vegan since December 2007, but have loved to cook & create pretty things since before I can remember. I started Vegan Housewives because I don't think you have to give up the joys of food when going vegan! I have a fondness for re-creating non-vegan recipes (especially my grandma's), making a healthier & animal friendly version so be sure to send me your favorite concoctions by clicking our "share a recipe" button - I would LOVE to veg-i-fy them!

This sounds like a really interesting group of recipes – I’ll have to try them. Here is a good vegan tagine recipe that blends sweet and savoury well plus if you serve it with quinoa it’s gluten-free http://www.miratelinc.com/blog/meatless-monday-with-moroccan-vegetable-tagine/
