Remember how we were giving away a spot to Stacy Paul Photography’s Workshop? Well, it was this past weekend…and is was AMAZING. I met some awesome ladies (our group picture above is courtesy of Stacy’s husband, Danny), learned SO much about my camera and got to do a little mini shoot in a top-secret location, with some of the coolest homemade props ever, using Stacy’s two little ones, Reese + Quinn as the subjects! It was a dream!
Here’s a peek at some of the photos I took using the techniques I learned from the ever so amazing Stacy Paul this weekend (using this camera and this lens):
While my pictures aren’t Stacy quality (see photo below- she makes me look way cooler than I am as well as our wedding photos), I can’t believe how much of an improvement I saw just with this one workshop!
If you want to keep up with an all around wonderful human being, be sure to head over to Stacy’s website, like her on facebook and follow her on Instagram! Word on the street is she may be planning some more workshops in the future, so be on the lookout!
What kind of tips and tricks would you like to learn from a photography workshop?
PS: My photos were taken using the Canon Rebel T1i & a 5omm lens (the 50mm is my favorite for outside, roomy places and pulling in the dreamy light. However, the 35mm lens will be my next camera investment for inside & smaller spaces)! Stacy shot with a Canon 60D & 35mm f1.4 lens.
