Any time I see a product with “Tested on good people, not good animals” printed on the front of the label, it’s safe to say I have to have it. Add eco-friendly, sulfate-free and made in the USA and I’m behind them 100%. I recently got my hands on some of The Good Home Co’s products and I have to say, I am pretty in love with this New York based green-home company!
I tried a few of their cruelty-free, vegan home cleaners this past month and was super impressed with how well they work without any harsh chemicals. Here’s what I tried:
Summer House Glass + Surface Cleaner
This Summer House Glass and Surface Cleaner cleans like a dream. I love that it works on windows and mirrors without leaving nasty streaks, but is still strong enough for countertops and sinks, yet safe enough to use on play kitchen countertops as well! Oh, and it smells like a dream too!
Lavender Dish Soap
Lavender is one of my favorite scents. The Lavender Dish Soap makes a tedious chore much more relaxing. I was a little nervous that this wouldn’t be “harsh” enough to cut the oils (and clean off the food I burnt), but it works great! It’s so nice to know that I can safely use it on Judah’s sippies and bowls too!
Anjou Pear Closet + Drawer Sachets
Have you ever found an awesome shirt in your drawer or closet that you completely forgot about, went to put it on, then realized that it smells so funky? Well, I can’t tell you why that happens, but these little balls from heaven (aka drawer sachets) make it stop.
I have super sensitive skin, so typically I would never put something scented near my clothes (we use Molly’s Suds detergent and no dryer sheets). However, these don’t bother me at all. The fragrance is extremely light. Just enough to keep the closet smell away and make your clothes smelling so fresh and so clean.
Have you used any of The Good Home Co’s products? If so, what did you think? If not, which one’s would you like to try? I think scented clothespins may be the next on my list!

Thanks for the post. Text me your favorites I am going to place an order for upstairs and downstairs!
I’ve never heard of these products but I’m glad you liked them. I make my own green cleaning products (I wrote a book about green cleaning actually) but I also use some store bought ones as well. I love bon ami. I agree that it’s nice to have more alternatives to stuff tested on animals.
