This weekend was one of the best we’ve had in a while. John had Saturday AND Sunday off so we thought about trying to go see Disney at Christmas. While that didn’t work out, the weekend we had was even better. I got excited about my camera again, we watched Home Alone, Katie taught me to make clip-in extensions, we had family snuggles, we actually made it to church, and we just soaked up as much of each other as we possibly could. Isn’t it funny how easy it is to let awesome times go undocumented? Sometimes stopping to take a picture means missing out on the fun!
This weekend also made me realize how quickly Judah is growing up. He went to “kids church”, which was the first time he has ever been with a non-family member. Thankfully we go to a small community church and are friends with the ladies that were taking care of the little ones!
He has become so much more independent and aware of everything lately! He understands most of what you say and is talking up a storm. While he still lets me snuggle him and gives lots of hugs and kisses, it’s so bittersweet to watch your baby need you less and less each day.
Here are a few peeks at him playing this week that I just had to share:
I love this guy more than life. He absolutely melts my heart. I hope he knows that.
How was your weekend and 1st half of the week?

Aaaah look at his pout when he’s playing with the wheel!
I just discovered your blog and I adore it! Your son is insanely cute and it sounds like you had the perfect weekend :) His outfit is awesome and is that one of those amber necklaces hes wearing?
Thank you so much for your sweet words, Lisa! And yes, it’s an amber necklace! While I don’t preach about them too much, he has NEVER drooled and he is almost 14 months with 9.5 teeth! :)
