Say Hello to Dylan the Kitten!

by VeganHousewives on September 3, 2012

Sorry I’ve been a little quiet around here, but Alexander & I got a kitten! We’ve been so obsessed with cuddling him and letting him attack our hands that life has come to a bit of a hault. A few weeks ago, one of my clients found a litter of kittens that were just a few days old. The mama never came back for them, so she (my client) took them in, bottle fed them for a while then offered to let us adopt one! We just couldn’t resist so we snatched him up as soon as we could.

We named him Dylan (after Bob Dylan), but we’ve been calling him Dill most of the time. His talents include: staying up all night while we are trying to sleep, climbing on everything and being super sweet and cuddly. We couldn’t be happier & it seems like he’s completed our little family (for now).

Props to you kitten mamas who are able to snap photos of your little ladies and gentlemen – it was so hard to get a picture of him that he wasn’t jumping or moving in!

Are you a kitten person? They’re new to me, so any advice is much appreciated!

XO- Katie

What a cutie! Congratulations on your new addition :)
One tip – if you don’t own a laser pointer, buy one immediately! This is hours and hours of entertainment, for years to come.

YAY for kittens! I have one that i adopted, but i missed her kitty stage. I got her when she was about 3 years old, she is almost 5 now. So, i have have no advice of kittens:/ My cat was my first pet ever and we took some time getting used to each other (she will let me cut her nails now without to much resistance)…haha..and i consider that major progress! Other than that she is a major sweetie, who loves to cuddle and greats me at the door every day when i get home from work- who says dogs are the only ones that do that????
    Have fun and enjoy her!
