Sweet Baby Judah is 2 Months Old!

by Kortney Campbell on December 20, 2012

2-month-judah So, this post is a little bittersweet. I’m so thankful for a growing, healthy, happy vegan baby boy, and excited about his new found personality, but I’m a little sad that he’s no longer my teeny tiny newborn. Last Sunday was his 8th week of life and as of tomorrow, he’s officially 2 months old!

Happy-vegan-baby To say the last two months have been amazing would be an understatement. Sure, we’ve had some tough times and Judah still is anti-back sleeping (which means the crib and cradle are still rare occasions), but to be honest, he’s an awesome baby! With the exception of growth spurts, he rarely ever cries and he LOVES to laugh!

baby-Hands-Feet His little body is growing and changing SO much. His feet are longer, his little balled fists have opened up into stretched out little fingers and he’s grown out of quite a few little onezies. I may even have to start loosening his diapers a few snaps soon!

Baby-Fett The mornings are his happy times (once we make it past the gassy fits). He kicks, coos, laughs, smiles and squeals and I can’t bring myself to put him down to get anything done. His new array of facial expressions have my heart. I just can’t get enough.

Judah-Sesame-Street Today he got his first Christmas present in the mail from my amazing family in Tennessee. It was amazing to see him react to a new toy. Also, he’s officially BFF with Big Bird. He fell asleep before we could get the show started, but he would crack up every time I sang the “Sunny Days” them song to him, so I’m pretty sure he’ll be a fan.

JUDAY-HAPPY-HOLIDAYS One day he’ll be all grown up and quite possibly embarrassed that his life is so well documented for the world to see. But today he’s my almost 2 month old perfect baby boy. And forever, he will be my whole world.

PS: The diaper can be found here.
